Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at C+C

C+C believes communications can be a force for good in the world. We deliver on this by working with clients who are making the world a better, more just and sustainable place. We must also deliver on this through our commitment to a more diverse and equitable communications industry. To hold ourselves accountable, in 2016 C+C created a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Team.

We’re committed to:

  • Dismantling the effects of bias (conscious and unconscious) and actively working against all forms of discrimination, oppression and systemic racism toward BIPOC communities.
  • Creating an environment that attracts and retains diverse talent, provides equitable opportunities for advancement, and values and respects employees’ unique perspectives, cultures and beliefs.
  • Embracing intersectionality, recognizing the ways racial identity is interconnected with other identities such as class, race, sexual orientation, age, ability, gender and more, and how the intersection of these identities impacts an individual’s daily experiences.

Working on DEI is a journey. We acknowledge that we still have a lot of work to do to make progress on Diversity, Equity an Inclusion. To take us to the next level, our DEI team started a process in 2020 to update our DEI plan to be more impactful. Our goal is to have the updated plan complete by the end of 2021.
