C+C worked with DOE to create SWAP—a reality-style content campaign where industry leaders trade energy management teams to uncover savings in each other’s buildings/facilities—and we filmed it all. For four “seasons,” C+C pursued an integrated content approach for SWAP, using compelling video content presented as a web series. C+C leveraged DOE’s owned channels for promotion as well as paid and earned channels. Season match-ups included Hilton Worldwide Hotels vs. Whole Foods Market, the U.S. Air Force vs. Naval Academies, the Cities of Atlanta vs. Boston and Loreal vs. General Motors. SWAP has become a marquee campaign for the BBC with the series receiving more than 5.5 million video view and 40+ unique media hits. The content is DOE’s highest web traffic and engagement driver—more than any other campaign to date.
