Account Executive

While all current positions have the option of starting fully remotely, our offices are available for all employees to work from on a voluntary basis, and we soft-launched our office re-opening on March 21st. Once we announce a firm return to office date for 2022 (still TBD), all local employees will have the option of working a minimum of two days and maximum of 5 days in the office.

Making good financial decisions. Taking public transit. Saving water. Basically, doing things to make the world a better place.


C+C Seattle is looking for a motivated, highly organized Account Executive (AE) who thrives on building relationships and trust, who anticipates and proactively works to fulfill client needs, and who is driven to deliver awesome work and services that surprise and delight. The successful candidate will have a ‘do-what-it-takes’ attitude, no matter the size or scope of the project or task at hand. They will have the ability to engage media, from press releases to media list development to outreach, to help shape public opinion of the company or organization and increase awareness of its brand They will be able to synthesize technical information into succinct, engaging messaging and distill high-level client goals into project requirements and next steps. Daily activities will run the gamut from online research, to story development, pitching, and communication planning, to collateral development, press release writing, and running logistics for outreach and events. This position will act in both support and lead roles depending on the project or campaign. We work with both public and private sector clients.


  • Working with C+C managers (and clients) to plan, implement and evaluate integrated PR and marketing campaigns
  • Media list development
  • Media outreach
  • Building, monitoring, and tracking project timelines and budgets
  • Working cross-functionally with internal teams to accomplish work and track progress
  • Writing content for a variety of materials including media pitches, communication plans, newsletters, social media, press releases, press materials, campaign messaging and talking points
  • Work with and lead internal account teams to meet client deadlines, including supervising junior staff in support of client work
  • Creating high-level reports and presentation decks
  • Manage production of creative projects and events (e.g., collateral materials, organizing staffing, creating logistics plans, etc.)
  • Tracking and monitoring media coverage
  • Conducting secondary research on the sometimes technical or complex subject matter and synthesizing research and data sources into key insights


  • Creative, flexible problem solving
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage time in a rapidly moving environment with daily competing priorities
  • At least three years of experience working in a PR/marketing position and/or in an agency environment with direct exposure to clients
  • Experience in media relations
  • Strong writing and editing skills (press releases, newsletters, blog posts, tweets, etc.)
  • Ability and love for multi-tasking (supporting 5-8 projects at any one time)
  • An understanding of marketing and social media concepts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A four-year college degree, or equivalent experience
  • A sense of humor!
