Quantitative Research Analyst

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

C+C is looking for a motivated and highly organized Quantitative Research Analyst to join our Market Intelligence (MI) team. This person should be an experienced quantitative market researcher with a DIY mindset and have a passion for understanding what makes people tick. The main function of this role is to lead and manage quantitative market research projects from start to finish in addition to typical project management tasks. Qualitative market research skills and/or experience with market research online communities are a plus, interest in it (and how it informs and complements quantitative research) is a must. This analyst is expected to be a collaborative, cross-functional team member with a passion for working on projects that are good for people and the planet.

WHAT WE DO:

The Market Intelligence team works on projects across C+C’s client portfolio, which means we think deeply, creatively and on our feet about how to meet diverse client needs. We get to do research that informs how our clients approach the real world; and has impact on real people. Sometimes that means understanding how people think and feel about an issue, or how to communicate complicated ideas, or message testing campaigns before they’re released into the world. In a nutshell, we are never bored.

SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Experience and confidence managing quantitative projects end-to-end
  • Developing quantitative research designs, budgets and timelines that fit the client’s needs and expectations
  • Planning, designing, and drafting and revising surveys with internal and external feedback
  • Programming and testing surveys
  • Analyzing, synthesizing, and reporting research results to deliver actionable insights
  • Drafting recommendations based on business goals and decisions-making needs
  • Ability to explain technical processes and quantitative concepts to non-technical clients (internal and external) to help guide decision making about research approach
  • Client kick-off and presentation experience (but not a must)
  • Developing quantitative research designs, budgets and timelines that fit the client’s needs and expectations
  • Building and maintaining research vendor relationships
  • Building and maintaining client relationships
  • Managing research project budgets, timelines and invoicing



REQUIREMENTS:

  • A four-year college degree
  • 3-6 years’ experience managing a diverse portfolio of quantitative market research projects
  • Advanced ability with Microsoft Office– Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience with a variety of quantitative research technologies and methodologies
  • Knowledge of when and how to apply statistical analysis
  • Market research project management experience
  • Ability to work on several projects and stay organized in a rapidly moving environment
  • Flexibility – this position will occasionally require working evenings and/or weekends
  • A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Willingness to consistently challenge assumptions and stereotypes when recognized

The following is not required but considered a plus:

  • Experience working in an agency environment
  • Bi- or multilingual capabilities
  • Experience with the AYTM platform
