C+C works with Energy Trust of Oregon to develop communications strategies that promote the benefits of energy efficiency and renewable energy and lead people to Energy Trust programs. We identify stories highlighting efficiency innovation and position Energy Trust as a thought leader among Oregon’s diverse audiences. Within the first few months, Energy Trust saw a 28% increase in media coverage and achieved $420,000 in publicity value. In 2019, we created the “Save For” campaign – an integrated marketing campaign in both English and Spanish driving Oregonians to a new landing page offering promotions on energy-efficient technologies and services. The first flight of the campaign saw more than 10,000 unique page visitors and a 40% increase in interest in the featured technology – smart thermostats.
