Starting in March of 2020, The Washington State Department of Health partnered with C+C to use a social marketing approach to address COVID-19 in Washington. The ultimate goal was to help flatten the COVID-19 curve by reducing cases and ultimately saving lives. Campaigns included increasing the adoption of behaviors that were identified as most effective at controlling the spread of the virus, launching an exposure notification tool called WA Notify and increasing COVID-19 vaccinations.
